An email to my client... I know its rude, I wanted it to be.
Hi XYZ Sorry to hear that. I’d like to resend the file which contain details about the service which I agreed to provide you. The email was sent on Thursday, xxx.
I mentioned clearly that I would build a site for you and there would be ‘x’ pages as per the initial study. I also mentioned that all the text will be provided by you. In fact I spent time on writing some text as well.
As long as all the information is handy, I can build a site in a few hours and thus I agreed to do it at a cost of $xxx. But I have already spent time worth a few hundred dollars and yet do not have all the information and unhappy you. I know it’s a hard feeling to carry that you paid for something and you are still not satisfied with the work.
Not sure about providing a quote for the additional work. I don’t want to give you a feeling that I earlier agreed to do it for $xxx and later charged too high for additional work. I’m ready to send you a refund and still let you use what I have done for the site so far.
